1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, beat butter and Meyer Lemon oil together. Add sugar, molasses, egg. Beat until fluffy.
2. Separately mix flour, ginger, baking soda, ground cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Gradually mix dry mix into wet until combined.
3. Make into one inch balls and place two inches apart on a baking sheet. Press balls flat and bake for 12-15 minutes or until brown and you can smell them without opening over. Let cool.
